Don't forget that the Canadian Periodical Index offers full text French publications too. You can browse the titles by clicking on "Publication Search", then click on "Browse Publication Language", and finally click on "French".

In case you haven't visited BREF lately, they have a new interface. They provide a list of new resources they’ve added, and include a RSS feed. Provided by the Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du QuĂ©bec, this site provides a directory of web resources. They focus primarily on French websites, but do list English ones too. Check out this great resource here.

Google Maps

This is one resource that I have really appreciated at work. It provides instant road maps when searching for any address across North America, as well as driving directions. One advantage that I have found over other mapping technologies such as Mapquest and Yahoo, is that the maps can be clicked and dragged. What is even more impressive is that you can see your address via satellite imagery! You will find Google Maps here: link.
